Welcome Back Day!
8th Grade - 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
7th Grade - 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
6th Grade - 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Evening (all grades) - 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Families with students in multiple grade levels can come together at one time.
What is Welcome Back Day? Welcome Back Day provides an optional opportunity for students and families to receive a warm welcome to Canarelli Middle School, pick up a copy of the student’s class schedule, receive orientation activities to promote academic success, and take a self-guided tour of our campus to locate classrooms.
Class Schedule: Students can pick up their 2023-2024 class schedule in the gymnasium. All our main hallways and buildings will be open; therefore, after receiving class schedules, students will have the opportunity to walk the campus and locate their classes.
Online registration (OLR) MUST be completed prior to schedule pick-up. Students with incomplete OLR will be unable to receive a schedule. The registrar will be available to assist with registration needs.
If you are unable to attend Welcome Back Day on August 1st, class schedules will also be visible in the Infinite Campus Portal on the morning of Sunday, August 6.
Student Life and Academic Program Information: Parents and students will have the opportunity to preview aspects of student life and academic programs at Canarelli. There will be information for various classes, clubs, activities, and athletics. Fall flag football tryout information and important documents will be available for pick-up and submission.
Campus Tour: Take time during your visit to tour the campus. Students will have the chance to find all their classrooms according to their class schedule before the first day of school.
Immunizations (7th grade only): Students must present proof of the required Tdap and Meningococcal immunizations prior to receiving their schedule or attending classes on August 4, 2023. The Covid-19 vaccination is not required.
Item Drop-off/Pick-up: The library will be open for students to drop-off and pick-up items. We ask that all Canarelli books and/or chromebooks are returned to prevent fines on student accounts.
