School Organizational Team (SOT) Parent Elections Announcement
The School Organizational Team (SOT) is a collaborative partnership comprised of teachers, support professionals, parents, a student, and the principal. The SOT meets once a month for an hour or longer (day and time to be determined). Parents and legal guardians are eligible to be members of the SOT at the schools where their children are currently enrolled.
The School Organizational Team (SOT) is responsible for:

Providing assistance and advice to the principal regarding the development of the School Plan of Operation.

Providing continued assistance and advice to the principal in carrying out the School Plan of Operation.

Assisting in the discussion of any additional authority to be transferred to the school to carry out responsibilities.

Assisting with the selection of the next principal when a principal vacancy occurs.
Please complete the online interest form below if you are interested in serving on Canarelli's School Organizational Team (SOT) for the 2026-2027 school year as a parent representative. Interest forms are due by 3pm on September 4, 2026.

Candidates' names, biographical information, and written responses from each eligible submission will be shared on the Canarelli Middle School website as part of the election process.
The SOT elections will take place via online Google Form from September 14 - 16, 2026 (ending at 3pm on September 16). Results will be posted on our school website by September 21, 2026 and shared at our SOT Meeting in October.
CCSD employees cannot serve as the parent/guardian members of the SOT if their child attends the school at which they work. However, those employees may serve as a licensed or support staff member of the SOT at that school. CCSD employees may also serve as a parent/guardian member of a SOT if their child attends a school different from their work location
