Located in the southwestern valley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lawrence and Heidi Canarelli Middle School is a highly diverse, above-average public school serving students in grades 6 through 8. Established in 2003 as part of the Clark County School District (CCSD), the school proudly bears the names of prominent local philanthropists and homebuilders Larry and Heidi Canarelli, who dedicated much of their lives to supporting public education in Southern Nevada.

Known for its school colors of blue and gold, Canarelli Middle School fosters a rich learning environment that balances academic achievement with character development. The school is highly regarded for its award-winning Fine Arts programs, including superior-rated band, orchestra, choir, guitar, and drama productions, alongside an active focus on student leadership. Through specialized programs like its school-wide Advisory period and a long-running commitment to "Challenge Day" initiatives, Canarelli emphasizes anti-bullying, community philanthropy, and mindset activities designed to build lasting student confidence.

Today, Canarelli Middle School educates a vibrant student body of roughly 1,500 students, consistently ranking in the top tier of Nevada middle schools for proficiency while celebrating its status as one of the most culturally diverse public middle schools in the state.
